Step into this charming 17th-century inn, steeped in history and tradition, located at the foot of Chipping Campden's picturesque High Street. This quaint town in the heart of the Cotswolds is renowned for its stunning natural beauty. The inn boasts a peaceful setting just a short stroll from the town centre, with the famous Cotswold Way starting right on its doorstep - a scenic walk that leads to Bath. With origins dating back to the mid-1800s, this inn was named The Volunteer due to its role as a gathering point for local men signing up for the volunteer armies.
