The Star Hotel, a historic coaching inn located on Southampton's High Street, boasts free Wi-Fi and private parking for its guests. This charming hotel is just a short 450-meter stroll from West Quay Shopping Centre and less than a mile away from Southampton Central Train Station. The hotel's rich history dates back to the 1800s when it was visited by the Royal Family. Today, each of our cozy bedrooms features modern amenities such as TVs, telephones, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Many rooms also boast en-suite bathrooms and some even feature four-poster beds for a touch of luxury. People no matter the age stay for £25 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Please note that the car park at The Star Hotel has a limited capacity and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, at a cost of GBP 6 per day for cars and GBP 8 for vans. Due to the style of the building, there are narrow and steep stairs leading to the rooms, which may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
