This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. CREEK CARAVAN PARK RULES for HOLIDAY MAKERS 1. Introduction 1.1. These Park Rules are in place for the good management of the Creek Caravan Park and the benefit of all who use it. These rules form part of the agreement that is the contract between us for your holiday occupation of a pitch on the park. 1.2. The expression ‘you’/’your’ means anyone using or hiring the caravan as a holidaymaker. The expression ‘we’/’us’/’our’ refers to the park owner and/or manager. 1.3. You must make sure that anyone using the caravan is aware of the Park Rules. 2. Safety 2.1. You must use the park safely and should not cause danger to others. 2.2. You must obey all health and safety notices displayed on the park and act on the reasonable instructions of park staff in matters of health and safety. 2.3. All holidaymakers must comply with the Health & Safety requirements for the caravan you occupy. 3. Security 3.1. You are solely responsible for securing the caravan during your period of holiday occupation. 3.2. You may only use alarms of the silent, monitored type and not audible alarms. 4. Fire precautions 4.1. You must ensure that all occupants of your caravan are familiar with the location of the fire points and the contents of the fire notices displayed at each point. 4.2. You may not use fire equipment for any improper purpose such as washing cars, wetsuits or boats. 4.3. You must not store fuels or combustible materials other than removable containers on the park. 4.4. You must take all reasonable precautions when using decorative candles (birthday, candlelit dinner and the like) to minimise the fire risk. You must never leave candles unattended especially in the presence of children. We do not permit oversize candles, garden candles or torches anywhere on the park. 4.5. You must not use disposable BBQ’s anywhere on the site or dispose of them in the site bins. 5. Wi-Fi and TV 5.1. The caravan site has internet connection covering all the pitches and the beach with ultra-fast broadband allowing you to stream and surf as much as you want, subject to our Fair Use Policy. 5.2. Subscribers to our internet will be required to agree to our Terms of Use, including our Acceptable Use Policy. 5.3. No satellite dishes are allowed on the Park. 6. Your pitch 6.1. You are responsible for keeping the area around the caravan clean and tidy. 6.2. Nothing flammable is to be stored underneath the caravan or deck. 7. Visitors to the Park during your holiday 7.1. Only people lawfully visiting with your permission have permission to enter the park. 7.2. Your visitors may not arrive before 7 am and must leave the park by 11.59 pm 7.3. It is your responsibility to ensure that your visitors and all occupants of your caravan adhere to the Park Rules. 8. Children 8.1. Children must be supervised whilst on the park and are the responsibility of their parent(s) or guardian during their stay. 8.2. Never allow children to play near or in the sea unaccompanied. 8.3. Children under the age of 16 should not be left unsupervised in the accommodation or on the park. 8.4. Children must be supervised to ensure that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or other people on the park and do not cause undue noise or disturbance. 8.5. An adult must accompany small children inside any of the park facilities or buildings or grounds. 9. Pets 9.1. You must not bring any pets or animals when you visit the park except those identified on your holiday booking form, which is limited to 2 dogs and not to include any of the breeds subject to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. You must also comply with the following: 9.2. Any dog you bring must be supervised by and under the control of you, or of a responsible adult in your party, at all times. This means you may not leave any dog unsupervised in a caravan or anywhere else on the park at any time. Nor may you leave any dog under the supervision of any person aged under 18. These rules apply even if the dog knows the park well and you believe them to be well-behaved. 9.3. If you do not supervise and control any dog, we are likely to ask you to remove it from the park straight away. Depending on the circumstances, you may not be allowed to bring it back, or may only be allowed to do so with our written permission, which we would not withhold once our reasonable concerns have been addressed. This is because we cannot allow the safety of others to be put at risk. 9.4. If you see another dog anywhere on the park which does not appear to be supervised by and under the control of a responsible adult, or whose behaviour gives a cause for concern, please tell the manager straight away. 9.5. You must not exercise dogs on the park. 9.6. You must keep any dog on a lead at all times whilst on the park, except in your caravan or on the deck. 9.7. You must clean up if your dog defecates on the park. 9.8. Dogs are not permitted in the launderette, shower or toilet at all times or other owners’ caravans without their invitation. 9.9. You must ensure your pet does not cause any nuisance, undue noise or disturbance. 9.10. Nothing in these Park Rules prevents you or any member of your party from bringing an assistance dog to the park, or from using the dog exactly as at home, if this is required to support a disability and Assistance Dogs UK or any successor body has issued an Identification Book or other appropriate evidence. 10. Behaviour 10.1. You should respect the privacy of other caravan owners and keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 8.30 pm and 8.30 am with absolute quiet between 10 pm and 7 am. 10.2. Musical instruments, radios, sound box/speakers and televisions must be kept to a level which will ensure that no nuisance is caused to other persons. We do not allow the playing of music outside the caravan. 10.3. You must keep away from any vacant pitches. 10.4. You must finish any barbecues or outdoor party by 10 pm. 10.5. You may only consume alcoholic drinks within the boundaries of your pitch. 10.6. You must not use a drone, powered model aircraft or any other powered flying object on the park. 10.7. You must not use fire equipment for any improper purpose such as washing cars, wetsuits or boats. 10.8. You must not use any Chinese lanterns, fireworks or similar. 10.9. You may not ride bicycles and scooters or similar so as to cause a nuisance or undue noise. 10.10. You must not instal any CCTV apparatus. 10.11. You must not use the park’s water supply to fill paddling pools. 10.12. Jet skis are not permitted on the park or to be launched from our beach in front of the park. 11. Ejection on grounds of behaviour 11.1. In the event of persistent or serious misconduct by you, a member of your family, your visitors or guests we will follow any relevant notice procedures in our agreement with you. 12. Vehicles, driving and parking 12.1. Vehicles 12.1.1. Vehicles, including all cars, commercial vehicles, delivery vehicles, camper vans, mobile caravans, lorries, motor bikes, quad bikes, trial bikes and powered scooters and their trailers are NOT permitted onto the park grounds under any circumstances. Disabled wheelchairs are permitted on the park. 12.1.2. Vehicle access on to the park is restricted to emergency vehicles only. 12.1.3. Vehicles are only permitted to drive on to the car park. 12.1.4. Delivery vehicles, including supermarket/food delivery vehicles, must stop in the car park or on the track outside the Park, to unload. It is your responsibility to arrange to meet the delivery van in the car park, or on the track outside, to take delivery of your purchases. 12.1.5. You must insure all vehicles you use on the car park as for use on the public road. 12.1.6. Trailers including boat trailers are not permitted on the park or the car park. 12.1.7. You must not keep disused or unroadworthy vehicles on the car park. We reserve the right to remove any vehicle which is apparently abandoned and charge our costs direct to you. 12.1.8. Motor vehicle repairs must not be carried out at the park, but a recognised breakdown service may attend in the event of a breakdown. 12.1.9. You must not wash vehicles with a hosepipe on the car park area. 12.1.10. You may not charge electric vehicles from your caravan or from any other electric point except one specifically designed and installed on the park for the purpose of electric vehicle charging. 12.2. Driving up to and on the car park 12.2.1. Fisher’s Place, the track leading to the Creek Caravan Park, is a private road with a 5mph speed limit which must be observed at all times. 12.2.2. There is a speed limit of 5mph on the car park which must be adhered to. 12.2.3. You may not drive onto the car park after 11.59 pm and before 7 am. 12.2.4. You must hold a full current driving licence to drive any vehicle on the car park. 12.2.5. We provide electric car charging facilities. Please contact the manager for booking these and for current charges. 12.3. Parking on the car park 12.3.1. Motorhomes, mobile caravans, camper vans, commercial vehicles, quad bikes, trial bikes and similar, are not permitted on the car park. 12.3.2. You must not park anywhere except in the permitted parking space allocated to your caravan. 12.3.3. You may not park more than one car in the permitted parking space allocated to your caravan. 12.3.4. Visitors’ cars must be parked only in the allocated parking spaces for visitors (if available), or in the parking space allocated to the owner of the caravan they are visiting, if permission has been granted in advance by the owner and it is unoccupied. When parking is not possible at the Park, alternative parking (paid) is available at the Ringstead Estate public car park. 12.3.5. You must not park on the grass or along Fisher’s Place, the track leading to the Park, except in an allocated parking space. 12.3.6. Other than for delivering goods and services, you must not park or allow parking of commercial vehicles of any sort on the car park, including: - light commercial or light goods vehicles as described in the vehicle taxation legislation and - vehicles intended for domestic use but derived from or adapted from such a commercial vehicle. 13. Recreation 13.1. You may only play ball and other games within the area immediately outside your caravan, if agreed with us (our agreement not to be withheld unreasonably). 13.2. Football should not be played anywhere on the Park. Other ball games should be played using a soft foam ball only. 13.3. You may not fly kites on the park or car park. 13.4. You may not use drones, powered model aircraft or any other powered flying objects in the park or car park. 13.5. You may not use bicycles, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades, micro scooters or segways on the park or on the car park. 13.6. You may not use any powered model car or similar toy on the park. 14. Tents and other structures 14.1. You must not erect any tent, awning, large sunshade, windbreaks or similar on the park. 15. Washing 15.1. You may only use the drying apparatus provided within your caravanand only on your deck in such a position so as not to obscure the views of, and not to be an irritation to, other Owners. You must remove them and store them out of sight immediately after use. You must ensure you avoid inconvenience to other caravan owners and park operations. 16. Refuse 16.1. You must not deposit refuse outside. You must use the refuse bins provided. 16.2. Recycling points are available on the park and you should use these facilities where appropriate. 16.3. You must not feed wild birds or animals. 16.4. Unaccompanied children are not allowed in the refuse area. 16.5. Shoes must be worn at all times in the refuse area. 16.6. Notices in the refuse area must be followed. 16.7. We take our responsibility to the environment seriously and expect holidaymakers to also have this approach and therefore food waste must not be put in the general waste bin or the recycling bins but must be wrapped in recyclable material and placed in the dedicated food bin. 16.8. You are responsible for the waste that you generate and you must not deposit any bulk refuse in the refuse area. This must be taken to a council refuse centre. 16.9. No disposable BBQs to be put in the refuse. 17. Smoking 17.1. It is illegal to smoke or use e-cigarettes inside enclosed public buildings. 17.2. If you are found to be smoking in public buildings or our holiday accommodation, you may be charged a cleaning fee of not less than £100. This would be a serious breach of your contract with us which may lead to you being required to leave the park. 18. Mail 18.1. You may not use the park address for postal deliveries. 19. Drainage system 19.1. You must not introduce any foreign items into the drainage system including (but not limited to) cleaning cloths, babies’ nappies, sanitary towels, tampons, condoms, cooking fat, engine oil, grease or paint. 20. Utilities installations 20.1. If you experience any problem with the park’s electrical, gas or water system, you should contact us. You must not attempt to work on any part of the park’s electrical, gas or water system yourself; this includes any installations on the pitch. 21. Trees and shrubs 21.1. You must not cut any trees or hedges at the park. If you find any tree or hedge a nuisance or unsatisfactory you should take the matter up with us; do not deal with it yourself. 21.2. You must not plant any tree or shrub without our prior agreement. 21.3. You must not climb any tree. 21.4. You must not tie anything to any tree or shrub. 22. Digging 22.1. You must not dig any holes at the park. 23. Photography 23.1. We regularly take photographs and videos for promotional purposes and we occasionally receive requests from third parties to film on the park. Should you not wish to appear in any material, please pay attention to the notices we put up when pictures are being taken. 23.2. Photography via camera, phone, drone or any other means is prohibited in any public buildings. 23.3. Where others may reasonably expect privacy, you must obtain their agreement before taking a photograph in which they are identifiable. Examples are when they are in their caravan, on their deck or pitch, on our beach or in our facilities. 24. Lost property 24.1. For any lost property, please contact the manager as soon as possible as any lost property will be disposed of after 1 month. 25. Entering your caravan 25.1. From time to time, it may be necessary for us to enter your property when we suspect there is a health and safety risk or a problem with the services connected to your caravan. We will make every effort to contact you in advance to inform you. Should we be unable to contact you, we reserve the right to enter your accommodation to carry out safety or maintenance work.
