The Standard's first hotel outside America has opened its doors in London's vibrant King's Cross area, nestled within the beautifully restored 1974 Brutalist building that was once Camden Town Hall Annex. Just across the street from St Pancras International and Underground stations, this unique property boasts 266 rooms with one-of-a-kind decor, featuring en-suite facilities, flat-screen TVs, Bang & Olufsen speakers, Italian bedding, and complimentary toiletries. The hotel's eclectic library lounge and bar offer a cultural hub for guests to relax and unwind, while the Sound Studio hosts regular DJs, live music events, and talks. For foodies, Double Standard serves hearty fare with beers and classic cocktails, and Isla offers all-day dining from breakfast to late night. On the 10th floor, Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias' restaurant Decimo showcases live fire cooking and stunning views of London. The rooftop bar Sweeties is a fun spot for drinks and good vibes, while The Rooftop at The Standard, London serves ice-cold cocktails and bao buns during the summer months.
