This magnificent estate, nestled within 4 acres of breathtaking gardens, is strategically located at the edge of Northumberland's picturesque countryside and just a 10-minute drive from Newcastle city centre. The hotel is within walking distance to Ryton village, boasting an ancient church and a variety of cafes and restaurants. For history buffs, Hadrian's Wall walk is only a mile away. With easy access to Newcastle city centre (just 10 minutes) and the MetroCentre shopping complex (5 minutes), this serene setting promises a warm welcome. Interestingly, Hedgefield House holds the distinction of being England's first private residence with a personal telephone - a connection to Alexander Graham Bell through marriage to the Simpson family who built the house.
