The Clarendon Hotel, a family-run haven, is situated directly opposite Deal pier, making it an ideal retreat for families, couples, and those seeking a peaceful escape from city life. Our rooms are equipped with modern amenities, including flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities, workspaces, and private bathrooms with hairdryers. Some rooms boast stunning views of the coastline and the French shores on clear days. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi in our public areas. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Deal's central rail station and a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. Deal pier is mere moments away on foot. Two golf courses are within a 15-minute drive. We offer both sea-view and non-sea-view rooms and suites for booking. All our rooms come with flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities, desks, fridges, and private en-suite bathrooms. Each room also features a travel iron/ironing board and hairdryer. While we don't serve breakfast, we provide complimentary items during your stay and are happy to recommend local eateries catering to diverse dietary needs and preferences. We're within 15 minutes' drive from two prestigious golf courses and have a convenient public transport network with bus stops and Deal train station just a 5-minute walk away. Please inform The Clarendon Hotel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. The Bernadette suite is wheelchair friendly and on ground level, it is not fully disabled friendly but we are working towards this. Due to the nature of the building, we ask those with limited ability or who struggle to climb stairs to contact us so we can ensure we allocate you to a room that is suited to your needs. As per the property's policy, we will charge all bookings 48 hrs prior to your check in, using the card details we have been provided (unless payment was during the booking process.). We have the right to cancel any booking if we are unable to recover funds for your booking during this 48hr window. Guest check in is between 15:00-22:00, however, reception is only staffed until 18:00. We ask guests to inform us of any check ins after 18:00.
