Once upon a time, a stunning Victorian mansion called "Lauriston" was transformed into a cozy hotel back in 1933. Later on, in 1950, the property underwent some impressive extensions and renovations, and it was reborn as the "Cecil Court Hotel", which still proudly bears its name today. This charming hotel is just a 2-minute stroll away from Poole Hill's bustling shops and bars, making it an ideal base for your Bournemouth adventure. Please note that there is strictly no check-in after 22.00 hrs. Pets are not allowed at this hotel. If breakfast is not included in your reservation it must be booked with reception on arrival. When booking 3 rooms or more, a 25% non-refundable deposit will be taken on receipt of booking. 24 hour heating is not included in winter period rates and is controlled by automated thermostat from 9am to 5pm as well as 11pm to 6am. The heating will therefore be enabled to maintain average room temperature, an additional oil heater can be provided at the running cost of £15 per day. Alternatively winter blankets are available free of charge from reception. Please note: the building has no air conditioning. We do not provide room fans or summer bedding. Guests are welcome to bring their own. Please note that The property is not responsible for vehicles left in the car park. Bar opening hours: Monday–Wednesday: 12:00–20:00 Thursday: 12:00–23:00 Friday–Saturday: 12:00–21:00 Sunday: 12:00–18:00 Please kindly note the hotel accommodation is over first and second floors accessed by stairs only, there's no lift available. We do not allow portable appliances in the rooms. Such items will be removed from the room and held by the reception for collection. If no valid credit card is provided, a security deposit will be requested instead. A damage deposit may also be charged for large group bookings.
